It´s very difficult for to obtain a higher title at a dog show here in the Czech Republic with a trimmed pomeranian. That is why we are forced to go to dog shows abroad where trimming is a must.
We hope that this will be overcome and we shall soon join Europe in this sense also at our dog shows.

  I think they should breeders in Germany think about how to separate breed  Pomeranian from the German Spitz and breed Keeshod  too.
  Greater Pomeranian are reclassified into Germany small spitz varieties. But little German Spitz is not. It's still breed  Pomeranian!!! Both varieties have not only different gene pool, but also the phenotype!!

• Until the last month (March 2010) was under the topic link on the German pages of VDS rasse Zwergspitz posted/ viewed this German dwarf spitz (picture on the left) and probably because of some German breeders who breeds Pomeranians, they changed the picture. There was placed the picture of German spitz absolutely in the different type of view than was the last one. (picture on the right) This isn´t German dwarf spitz but variety of dwarf spitz, who came from the USA breeded by lady Betinn Nolte from the station of little Gangsters Paradise, who breeds imports from the USA. It´s Pomeranian by american standard.

  German representatives of German spitz association "signed" verdict for breed of German dwarf spitz in Europe. What´s going to be with the breeders, who will want breed standardly the German dwarf spitzs? Will it be their end/ Schluss? The breeders of German spitz must care about them...
  Thee breed, which has "came back" to Germans without any kind of improoving or cultivating after 150 years form United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America to this shape (picture on the right side was used as new-time portraiting standard of German dwarf spitz) and was thoughtlessly compared to German spitz should be named by representatives of Verein für Deutsche Spitze, needless to say, as Pomeranian, because originaly it Pomeranian really is. Otherwise, it would be very unrespectable for the breeders of German spitz. 

• So these are for me standard representatives of all spitzs variety and sizes, who came from land of Germany – Pommerania. Some of them, of course, had been cultivating and have been improoving for years in the Middle Europe or in the Great Britain and the United States of America.

DANUBE INTERNATIONAL SHOW, BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA  - 16/8 to 17/8/2008 We wish share with all our friends and Pomeranian fans the fantastic news that our „CHICKY“ – Jan Shars One Man Show  participated in the Danube Show and won the following prizes:  16/8/2008 – V1, CAC, Res. CACIB – high ranking given by Mr. Peter Harsanyi, Hungary, BOB given to Pomeranian, light orange colour, beautifully sheared, Hungarian owner. Encl. photo: left Chicky, right Pomeranian from Hungary BONNY THE SCARLET FLOWER, Hungary  - reached narrow selection in BIG 17/8/2008 – V1, CAC,BOB, BIG and fantastic BIS – our indescribable joy is even bigger as all the top Awards were obtained from impartial judges. Our thanks are going to madame. Mery Chantal from France, judging BOB, Mrs. Vilje Klucniece, Litvia, judging best specimen of Groupe V. and giving us BIG, Mr. Jaroslav Matyas, Slovakia, chosing CHICKY the most beautiful dog of the Show and thus obtaining BIS.  Our big thanks also go to Mrs. Sharon Hanson, Breeding Kennel, USA where CHICKY comes from.  Furthermore we wish to thank the moderator of the Show ing. Robert Kanas for correctly naming the breed during the defilé saying „dwarf pomeraniana spitz.   In Saturday 17.5.2008 SOFIES SNOOP DOG got valuation Exc.1,CAC, CACIB, BOB, JAN-SHARS ONE MAN SHOW Exc.1, CAJC. Both dogs got nomination for prestigions show "CRUFTS 2009"
  
  In Sunday  18.5.2008  SOOFIES SNOOP DOG   got  Exc.1, CAC, CACIB, JAN-SHARS ONE MAN SHOW  Exc.1, CAJC, BOB and he was between 5 best dogs of FCI group. SOFIES SNOOP DOG called  "SNOOPY"  fulfiled all conditions for the title Czech champion, Slovak champion and International champion.
